-----This private class is designed for students who are serious about fashion design, portfolio building, and fashion design college applications. Through personalized instruction, students will develop strong design thinking skills and complete professional-level fashion design portfolio. ----Private Class, make a call 408-800-7928, or email at whyfashionus@gmail.com to make an appointment. ----Materials and Tools: WHY fashion provided the machine, threads and tools used by the students in the class. ------Classes details----------What your kids learn in this series of classes: • Fashion Sketching Skills Learn fashion sketching techniques to clearly express design ideas, including proportion, movement, and coloring. Students will practice illustrating their own designs. • Mood Board Development Learn how to create a professional mood board that communicates inspiration, concept, color story, and overall design direction. • Theme & Style Development Understand how to identify a strong theme and refine it into a cohesive design style or collection. • Color & Fabric Selection Learn how to choose appropriate colors, fabrics, and textures to best represent the design concept and enhance the final garment. • Pattern Making Learn how to draft and create original patterns based on individual designs. • Sewing Skills Develop machine sewing skills and essential hand-sewing techniques needed to complete fashion designs with professional finishing. • Design Collection & Presentation Learn how to develop a complete design collection, including garment presentation, basic fashion photography, and participation in fashion shows. ----Prerequisite: No experience required.
